NHATTY MAN
Nhatty Man is bringing his energetic mix of Ethiopian pop, reggae and dancehall to the Toff for a special early-night show on Friday May 20.
Nhatty Man is a household name in Ethiopia and around the worldwide Diaspora. In 2017 Nhatty released Man Vol. 2, an entirely self-produced album, that pre-pandemic sent him touring throughout USA, Canada and Europe. Although grounded for the last couple of years, Nhatty’s creative energy has not waned. He has been busy writing new albums and was named the 2022 Australia Council for the Arts Music Fellow, a title he takes with great honour. Despite his love of studio time, Nhatty is excited to return to the stage and perform live.
Supporting Nhatty Man on the night will be African soul and neo-funk singer/songwriter Tèbir and poetic Hip Hop Maestro Tumi The Be.
